The Atlantic City Open is proud to host nine total events, highlighted this year by the National Tabletop League (NTL) 5-Player Team Championship, an exciting new addition that brings the best Warhammer 40K teams in the country together to compete for the NTL 5s title.

Alongside the NTL 5s, ACO continues to showcase its flagship events, including Warhammer 40K Champs Singles, The Old World Teams, and much more, delivering something for competitive players, hobbyists, and spectators alike. NTL 5's Team Finals @ ACO

For the first time ever, the National Tabletop League 5-Player Finals will be held inside and part of the Atlantic City Open, making this one of the most important team events of the year!

In collaboration with ATC and Away Games Terrain, teams will compete over three days on fully standardized battlefields designed to deliver a consistent and fair competitive experience across all tables.

The event will use GW rules, the current Balance Dataslate, NTL FAQ, NTL pairing rules and format, and FLG’s code of conduct.

The Army Painter Challenge

No matter which game system you're participating in, enter your finished armies during the listed hours and location in your player packet. Winners of the challenge will be announced during Sunday's award ceremonies.

Hobby Classes

Introducing for the first time ever at ACO, hobby classes with instructor Caleb Wissenback from The Army Painter!

Winner of several Demons and Crystal Brushes throughout his 15+ years of experience. Caleb’s armies have won best of show at many tournament events and his work has also been featured in White Dwarf magazine. National Tabletop League Announces Inaugural 5-Player Finals Event at Atlantic City Open

The National Tabletop League (NTL) is proud to announce its inaugural 5-Player Finals Event, marking a landmark moment in competitive tabletop gaming. Organized by ATC in partnership with Frontline Gaming (FLG), this championship event serves as the grand culmination of the NTL 5-Player 2026-27 Season.

The Finals will take place in Atlantic City, New Jersey, as part of the highly anticipated Atlantic City Open (ACO) — bringing together the nation's top 5-Player teams for three days of elite competition.

Competitors will battle across a purpose-built, standardized battlefield designed to ensure a fair and consistent playing experience for all participants, with top teams vying for championship glory, awards, and prizes.

ATC's dedicated event crew will be on-site throughout the weekend managing every logistical detail, so teams can focus on competing at their best. The Atlantic City Open venue will provide full services and refreshments for the duration of the event.

The nearest airport to Atlantic City is Atlantic City (ACY) Airport which is 10 miles away. Other nearby airports include Philadelphia (PHL) (56.7 miles), Newark (EWR) (93 miles), New York JFK (JFK) (95.3 miles) and New York La Guardia (LGA) (102.3 miles).

Event Registration

Once you purchase your desired ticket and receive an e-mail confirmation, you will be registered for this event. Many games and tournament organizers (TO’s) use Best Coast Pairings (aka BCP) to run events and will e-mail you a unique access code to add yourself to the player roster. Codes and further instructions are expected to be sent out a few weeks prior to the event date, if applicable.

Always refer to your player packet for specific or unique instructions beyond purchasing your ticket.

In-person check-in is not required at this event. The FLG Events registration desk is where you pick up any merch orders and event exclusive swag that’s included with your ticket.

Visitors are welcome to come in and spectate at no cost. We always ask to be respectful of our players who are competing on the table-tops.
